Overview

The Prince of Wales Backpacker Pub at 51 Boat Quay is right on the Singapore river. Wake up to wonderful views of Raffles landing site, the Asian civilization Museum, City Hall, the Merlion and the Marina Bay Sands casino. Have your breakfast riverside and watch the bum boats sail by and dream of times past of traders and pirates entering the quay. We have the best view of any hostel in Singapore, great service, wonderfully centrally located, very secure, and still at a heavenly price

Location & Transportation

We are located at BOAT QUAY.
Boat Quay is a strip of colonial shophouses on the Singapore river and right next to the Singapore CBD/stock exchange. Our customers at the bar are a mix of stock brokers, bankers, backpackers, international school teachers and musicians. The views across the river are a beautiful reminder of the past with all the old government buildings completely refurbished to their original splendor.
