East Coast Road is at the out skirt of the city and near to the East Coast Park.
Though we are not near to the city , Buses just outside the hostel goes direct to many city areas and attraction of Singapore from 20 mins onwards.
Our advantage is that we are near to the Airport and for guests that prefers a quieter area. | | Directions | We are along East Coast Road between Siglap Road and Lotthian Terrace.
We on the 2nd storey above Georges Grill | | Transportation | Take Bus 36 from the Changi Airport Terminal 2 and stop at the 6th stop (No. 93029 Mandarin Gardens). Our hostel is about 6 minutes away from the bus stop (by walking). There is only one public bus system in Singapore under Singapore Bus Services (SBS), so look for SBS Bus 36.
Directions from Mandarin Garden bus stop:
Cross the road and walk left-wards. You will see a pathway going into East Coast Kerris estate on your right .
Turn into it and walk straight till the end of the road at a T-junction call East Coast Ave. Turn left.
Walk straight and turn right into East Coast Dr.
Walk straight till you reach the main road and we are just opposite the road!
If you are taking a taxi, it will cost approximately SGD 12.00. ( Please pay according to meter ).
The airport shuttle will be SGD 9.00. Please enquire at the Changi Airport Shuttle counter at the arrival halls of any of the terminals.
MRT Train
Alight at BEDOK station EW5 .
At the bus terminal of Bedok , take Bus 40 and alight at the 6th stop when it turn right at Siglap centre. |

Late Turn Up
Fernloft will not honour the following bookings:
•Guests who book without deposit and are late for 1 hour
•Guests who book with deposit and are late for 3 hours or more, unless fully paid up
For reservations without time indication, we will take it as the check in time is at 1400hrs.
There will be NO refunds on these deposits made.
Reservation Policy
For normal bookings: 10% or 1 day deposit (whichever is higher) should be collected from guest to confirm a reservation.
For group bookings: 50% deposit will be collected to confirm the reservation and the rooms will be reserved for the group.
Cancellation Policy
For individual bookings:
•Deposits are non-refundable for any cancellation notice of less than 72 hours (3 days) (excluding the check in date )
•For deposits made Via Hostelworld / Hostelbookers or via any external website platform (except Paypal), deposits are strictly non-refundable.
•For deposits made via Paypal, deposits can be refunded, less 5% administrative charges.
For group bookings:
•For cancellation notice of less than 7 days, full deposit is forfeited.
•For cancellation notice of more than 7 days, deposit may be refunded after deducting 10% of the total invoice price for administrative charges.
Non Acceptance of Children and Locals
•We do not accept children of less than 12years old in our dormitory unless it is booked excluysively for your guests only.
•We do not accept local residents.
•Fernloft reserves the right to reject your reservation or bookings, without any refund, if you pose a threat or nuisance to our hostel. |
