Overview

Zugdidi Hostel is a first place for backpackers, tourists and travelers in Western Georgia. You could find here tips for your traveling, soft beds, free breakfast, cozy old Asian atmosphere, common areas inside (common room with entertaining games and possibilities listen to music, dancing and having fun) and out (hammocks in a shadowed garden, vineyard, free parking, etc.), funny staff.

As Zugdidi is kind of close and still unknown place we would like to open Zugdidi and all the Samegrelo region.... So, Zugdidi Hostel is a place for gathering, parties, good time, story telling, Georgian and inter-cultural parties, music performances, dancing and Georgian wine tasting.

We were made for you, backpackers and all the interesting people around :)

Location & Transportation

Zugdidi Hostel is in the downtown of Zugdidi city. It is a private house, very specific and traditional for this region.

  DirectionsZugdidi Hostel is located in 15 min walk from railway/bus station and 10-15 min from the city centre.
  TransportationThe easiest way to find the hostel is to get to the main city square with building of Regional Governance called "Gubernia".
From there you need to follow the sighns. When you will stand in front of "Gubernia" you need to turn to the right and after 50 m on the crossroad – to the left. After few minutes you need to turn to the first turn to the right and go by the main road always down the street. You will get the Zugdidi Hostel in 10 min. From the railway and bus station you also need to follow the sighs or ask people. Also you could take the marshrutka nr. 81 (local minibuses) and it will take you directly to the hostel. Marshrutka goes from the bazaar (market). Or you could just contact us and we will meet you at any place.

Blue dorm: It has 3 beds and a closet. It is on the 2nd floor with view to vineyard and mandarins trees.

White mixed dorm: It has 8 beds (6 places in double-floor beds and two places in separate beds). View from the window is to the vineyard.

Twix dorm: It is small cozy double room on the second floor.

Sunset private: Small cozy double room on the second floor. Has huge windows and amazing view of sunsets.

Bamboo triple: It is triple room on the first floor near the common area.
