Elefant Association

We are a non-profit organization based in France but our acvtion is taking place in the ITALAGAN Village near Spitak.
Our center welcomes children and youngs from the village and around. We bought a big house in 2005, which is now an open house for the children (the center and the material is at the disposal of children), the center also offers workshops (art, computer, french and english lessons) to who wants.
We work with 6 salaried people ( 4 workshop responsibles, 1 housekeeper, 1 cleaning woma). One of the founders of the association lives in EREVAN and is Armenian.
The association exists since 2001 and we have close bounds with the inhabitants, charing parties and meetings.
Our association perennizes thanks to donations and memberships but we also want to be partly self financing.

That is why we put together a bed and breakfast project.
The center's ground floor is dedicated to children activities, there is a big equiped kitchen (fridge, oven...), toilets, bathroom with hotwater, central heating.
The first floor is also knewly equiped with 3 rooms that can welcome up to 7 people.
We already welcomed guests, like the Armenian Rugby team members.
Guest can share moments with workers, children, participate into the activities, or just do their own things and rest in the mountains.
They can also cook for themselves or have meals cooked by local people we know.

We wish to make ourselves known, and integrate our associaiton in the choices you propose.
